The design grew from the remarkable story of Daniel Swarovski, the 19th-century Bohemian glass cutter and inventor whose curiosity about glass, precision and light changed the art of crystal cutting. His story became the starting point for a design about something even more enduring: the beauty of receiving and reflecting light.

Drawn from Psalm 104:2, the words at the heart of the piece are a simple reminder of the true Source of that light. The Land of Beulah is subtly incorporated into the artwork, keeping the overall look elegant and uncluttered.
